or are a beginner. With three 18-hole golf
courses within less than half an hour's drive.
If you are inexperienced or want to play golf
for the first time, there are 9-hole Pay &
Play courses which anyone can play. Or why
not visit a driving range at one of the courses.
Food & Drink
'Sun over Gudhjem' - smoked herring with egg
yolk, radishes and chives - is the Bornholm's
best-known culinary delicacy. But it's only
one of many gastronomic experiences to be
enjoyed on the island. Round off your meal
with Bornholm cheeses that
have won gold medals in international competition.
Arts & Crafts
The ceramicists are inspired by the high-quality
clay of Bornholm, which has provided the raw
material for stoneware and ceramics –
for several hundred years. The past 20 years
have seen glassblowing flourish on the island,
with striking works of design and art being
created.
Fishing
Bornholm is a real Mecca for anglers and offers
unique experiences in autumn, winter and spring.
Bornholm is particularly famous for its salmon
